Our Programs

Your child’s education doesn’t end when the bell rings after school. At Kid’s Resort, we’re much more than a daycare. Since 2012, we’ve provided before and after school programs in Richmond, TX, that encourage kids to socialize, explore the world around them, and grow as individuals. We provide our programs at a number of elementary schools throughout Lamar CISD as well as our main facility.

Before and After School Program

As a parent, you can rest assured that your child is at the best, most interactive after school program around! Kid’s Resort has transformed traditional after school programming in so many ways. We offer a unique balance of academic enrichment and engaging activities, along with group and individual time that students crave after spending a day in the classroom.

Socializing

We believe that the key to a great after school experience is staff and student interactions. Activities in the gym and the outdoors are great opportunities for children to work together. This kind of environment also encourages children to learn how to handle winning and losing situations and how to support each other by working together.

Educating

Homework is crucial to your child’s education. We assist your child with their homework for one hour each day. A tutor comes once a week for an hour to help students who are struggling. This tutor can be hired by you for any additional on-site tutoring that you feel would benefit your child.

Engaging

Relationships are important to us. We feel confident that you and your child will feel supported and engaged at Kid’s Resort!

Full-Day Care

6:00 AM – 6:30 PMKid’s Resort works closely with the local school district to ensure your child has somewhere to go when school is not in session. We provide a full-day of care on the following days:

Select teacher in-service days
Select school closure days
Thanksgiving Break (Monday through Wednesday)
Winter Break (Generally eight of the 11 days)
Spring Break
Summer Camp (Closed July 4th and last Friday of summer)

During a full day program, students participate in a wide variety of activities. Meals, field trips, and special activities are all included with tuition.

Summer Camp

Kid’s Resort summer camp is filled with adventure, fun, and friendship. Campers will participate in arts and crafts, group games, science, cooking, field trips, special activities, and community service projects. Everything is included in your camp fees – including breakfast, lunch and a snack!
